2011

Immersion trip

A group of seven people—including our three founding Board Members—traveled to Uganda to visit with Fr. Matthias and determine how we could best assist him and his community.

2011

St. Andrew Grade School Mubende

The first project that St. Andrews in Chicago partnered with Fr. Matthias on was this school. It is a beautiful school on a hill in his original parish. The UEP team visited this school in 2011.

2016

St. Andrew High School Lwanga

The third school built by Fr. Matthias and the first project spearheaded by the team that now makes up the Board of UEP, St. Andrew High School had its first class begin in 2016.
